Manchester City Council Contract for Study to Inform Spatial Planning Requirements for Decentralised Energy and Delivery of Zero Carbon Buildings
Manchester City Council on behalf of the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities (AGMA) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced consultants for a strategic energy study for Greater Manchester. The main purpose of the study is to meet Planning Policy Statement 1 (Climate Change Supplement, 2007) requirements by providing an evidenced based understanding of local feasibility and potential for renewable and low carbon energy technologies within Greater Manchester.
It is anticipated the contract will commence in September 2008.
