Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment Request for Assistance with Evaluation of Identified Sites.

Invitation to Tender

Arun District Council, Worthing Borough Council and Adur District Council are undertaking separate Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessments, working to a common methodology. The three Councils have identified and surveyed potential housing sites in their respective districts, and now wish to jointly appoint a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to undertake an independent evaluation, leading to recommendations on whether sites are developable and deliverable (Stage 7 of the CLG Practice Guidance). The three Councils require separate reports, all to be completed by early December 2008.

The closing date for submission of tenders is 12 noon on Friday 8 August 2008.

It is anticipated that interviews with shortlisted consultants will be carried out in the week beginning 1^st September 2008.
